Push Notifications – Microcopy
Push notifications account for more than 50% of the bookings for booking.com. We wanted to communicate as much as possible in the given space, while keeping the tone empathetic.
Based on research, I decided to create a template using the timing of the notifications and combining it with the USPs. I also experimented with the use of emojis, so that it could be both fun and appealing.
On the day of the launch
- 35% increase in app sessions
- 327 transactions
- 1,379 gross accommodation bookings
